چکیده

We deene a model for heuristic tree search which assumes that the quality of the heuristic used for ordering the successors of a node improves as depth increases. We show that a usual value ordering heuristic for solving constraint satisfaction problems ts to this model. Our model deenes a partial order on the leaf nodes of the search tree, according to their probability to be a solution. We check which search strategies among interleaved depth-rst search (IDFS), limited discrepancy search (LDS) and depth-bounded discrepancy search (DDS) visit the leaf nodes while respecting the partial order. Our study leads to conclude that, among these strategies, only Pure IDFS and a slight modii-cation of improved LDS respect it.

درخت تجمیع داده براساس الگوریتم پویای شکل گیری رودخانه درشبکه حسگر بی سیم

One of the main challenges in Wireless Sensor Networks is the limited energy of nodes which can cause to reduce the lifetime of nodes and whole network respectively. Transmissions between the nodes consumes most of the nodes' energy so minimization of unnecessary transmissions can led to reduction of energy consumption. Therefor routing protocols designed based on optimal energy consumption are...

An improved algorithm to reconstruct a binary tree from its inorder and postorder traversals

It is well-known that, given inorder traversal along with one of the preorder or postorder traversals of a binary tree, the tree can be determined uniquely. Several algorithms have been proposed to reconstruct a binary tree from its inorder and preorder traversals. There is one study to reconstruct a binary tree from its inorder and postorder traversals, and this algorithm takes running time of...

A novel algorithm to determine the leaf (leaves) of a binary tree from its preorder and postorder traversals

Binary trees are essential structures in Computer Science. The leaf (leaves) of a binary tree is one of the most significant aspects of it. In this study, we prove that the order of a leaf (leaves) of a binary tree is the same in the main tree traversals; preorder, inorder, and postorder. Then, we prove that given the preorder and postorder traversals of a binary tree, the leaf (leaves) of a bi...

A Proposal of Index for High-dimensional Static Databases

As a member of R-tree family, R*-tree is widely used in multimedia databases and spatial databases, in which NN (Nearest Neighbor) search is very popular. According to our investigations, (1) the degree of objects clustering in the leaf nodes is a very important factor on performance of NN search; (2) Normally, in R*-tree, its objects are not well-clustered in their leaf nodes. This paper propo...

Estimating speaker characteristics for speech recogni- tion

A speaker-characteristic-based hierarchic tree of speech recognition models is designed. The leaves of the tree contain model sets, which are created by transforming a conventionally trained set using leaf-specific speaker profile vectors. The non-leaf models are formed by merging the models of their child nodes. During recognition, a maximum likelihood criterion is followed to traverse the tre...
